Heart Center Cracked Open

My steady diet of travel took me to the island of Kauai.

This was not a typical trip for me. Usually, I am taking in as much as I possibly can. Seeing all the sights and being a tourist.

Not this time.

The island had something different in mind.

My guidance: PLAY

Pleasure

Listen

Align

Yes

Pretty simple.

My guidance was to experience the PLEASURE of who I am, to LISTEN to the guidance of my heart, to ALIGN with these and to follow the sacred YES in my body.

PLAY...

Once I stepped foot on the island, I knew why. It wasn't the normal trip where things were available. Nope. Not here and not at this time. In fact, things were the opposite. Closed, blocked off, unavailable, redirected, and at one point a non-starter!!

Can you hold the frequency of PLAY when all the things are closed, blocked off, unavailable, redirected, or can't start?

This island forced me to slow down and take in the beauty that was available. I literally walked straight into an area in Waimea Canyon that was full of shit. It was behind the bathrooms of one of the lookouts and I saw broken sewer pipes strewn about on top of the ground and the word that kept repeating was "shit." The elementals weren't happy with the situation.

The message...sometimes you have to walk through the shit to get to the good stuff.

On this specific day, the good stuff was finding another blocked off gem that had a path along the cliff edge of the canyon. But it took several trips up and down the road before finding it and deciding to stop and explore.

I am not a heights girl and standing at the edge is literally me meeting my own edge.

And it was stunning!

Seeing the beauty from above, from the cliffside all the way to the ocean. The colors, the layers of lava rock, the birds, the clouds, the sun, all painting this beautiful picture. Even goats joined into the moment...greatest of all time (GOAT)!

Hahahahaha!

Kauai is a heart beating. I could feel her. Divine feminine, nurturing, healing, keeping me in a receiving mode. I was welcomed by the people, the land, and the sea in a way I hadn't been before.

The message from Waimea Canyon:

The heart cracked open.

You can see the beauty and the depth, but you cannot see all of what is hidden here. There are nooks and crevices that hide even more beauty and surprises. There is also water that flows through the canyon that is like the blood flowing through the human heart. It is life force. Oxygenating. Breathing. Nourishing. Vibrant.

Come back and explore some more next time.

Our hearts are the same. When we allow ourselves to be cracked open, we are able to explore the depths and the side roads. The dead ends are just as beautiful and full of life as the path through. How else will you find the hidden gems that are available, if you don't open the heart and see what is inside?

Earth often times provides a metaphor.

She, Pachamama, is a sentient being that is full of knowledge who is willing to share her wisdom when we slow down enough to listen and receive it.

What happens when we explore our hearts more?

We see a beauty that inherently exists that was once hidden. We find little treasures within ourselves because we allow our hearts to open. The light shines and more becomes available to be seen. Shadows become a shade tree on a sweltering day, portals to the places where compassion exists. We explore and map out the terrain. Some areas are harder to get to while others are much easier. The rugged remoteness is serene and peaceful. Untouched. Naturally protected.

When we see this magic within, then the magic in others is also available.

By opening our hearts and exploring our canyons within, we show others the beauty of this inward journey.

I am pretty sure that is how hiking trails came into existence, just sayin...
